Crunchy Noodle Spiders

INGREDIENTS

  • 100g dark chocolate (roughly chopped)
  • 18g white choc bits
  • 50g Mamee Monster Noodle Snacks

METHOD

  1. Place dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure base of bowl does not touch water). Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes or until melted. Remove saucepan from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Meanwhile, line baking tray with baking paper. Place white chocolate into a piping bag (or ziplock bag with one corner snipped) and pipe a little chocolate onto white chocolate bits to create eyes. Refrigerate for 5 minutes or until set. Remove from tray.
  3. Using hands, break noodles into small bits and add to remaining melted chocolate, stirring until noodles are well coated.  Spoon mixture, tbs at a time, onto a tray to form nine 4cm-wide spiders. Arrange eyes on spiders, then refrigerate for 20 minutes or until chocolate is set.

Spooky Boo-nanas

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 bananas, peeled
  • ½ cup vanilla yoghurt
  • 12 sultanas

METHOD

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.  Halve bananas diagonally.  Carefully insert a wooden stick into cut-sides of bananas. Place on tray.  Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
  2. Place yoghurt in a tall skinny glass.  Dip bananas, one at a time, into yoghurt to almost coat, allowing excess yoghurt to drip off before returning to tray. To create eyes, place raisins on each banana, then gently press to secure.  Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.

Witches Hats

INGREDIENTS

  • Mini ice-cream cones
  • Choc Ripple biscuits
  • Mini M&M’s
  • Skittles
  • Orange writing icing
  • Black writing icing

METHOD

  1. Fill the cones with the Mini M&M’s and skittles
  2. Use orange writing icing to draw a line around the entire top edge of the cone. Stick a Choc Ripple biscuit on top of the icing edge and flip over so the cone stands with the biscuit on the bottom.
  3. Using orange writing icing, draw a line around the entire edge where the cone meets the biscuit. Using black writing icing, draw a “buckle” on the front of the hat.
